Until now, black and white photography with real film still has its charm, mainly that kind of pure expressionism, from a unigue experience on film selection, photographic development, darkroom effect, amplification and presentation. All of which cannot be replaced until now. Many people can experience a kind of meditation-like perception in this process. There will be a deeper understanding of the interpretation of visual arts, such as a kind of revelation, a kind of aesthetic feeling, a decisive moment, all of which are different to paintings. Photography is the intermediate medium offering a sense of reality and nostalgia of the times. If you have a chance, strongly recommend to join a workshop to do real film on photography.
